After 20 years in the industry and a load of experience I started FOLK Collective. I’ve always had the ability from an early age of being a chef I guess it was finding where I would be happiest cooking.
After finishing school I worked in some local restaurants around the East Midlands progressing quickly in kitchens. I decided to move to Leeds after a couple of years and experience a bigger city. So many independent bars and restaurants which I think has always stayed with me. Independence.
After working at sat bains I have taken numerous head chef roles at both restaurants and event companies. The latter being where I have done my best food. Cooking for the likes of princess Anne, the arctic monkeys and Pamela Anderson! Restaurants and restaurant menus can become stagnant. An event is unique. Bespoke menu made for the client.
I can lend my hand to multiple styles of cuisine as I’ve been fortunate to learn from some amazing chefs over the years. Whether it be Korean street food or a high end tasting menu.
Cooking is my passion and along side a small team, we can create a seamless evening of exceptional food and exceptional service.
We have experience in at home bespoke dinner parties, weddings, funerals and pop up events.
